Flat Cap Electronics

Zenith H845

Notes #

Chassis = 8H20

Late tube unit, mono, woofer and tweeter pair, very good reception, very good sound.
Set is a primitive sort of double insulated.
Sam's C44 is a head scratcher. The case (not shaft) of the volume and power switch is tied to one side of mains. The corresponding tuning switch shaft is tied to ground.
Filaments are series strung and B+ is rectified mains, but there's a tiny transformer to run a pair of pilot lights.
Said transformer suggests a good unit for tinkering with bluetooth and similar.
Tuning uses mixed capacitors and permeability tuned inductors.

The PDF has been spotted in the wild, maybe look around you know?
